Thanks to all who attended The La Jolla Summer White Party XXVI Victory Lap!
We hope you each had a wonderful time and it certainly appeared that everyone did.
Initially we planned to take a year off after reaching our Silver Anniversary last year with XXVI!.

But as summer was reaching it’s final days I had a case of remorse and Victory Lap
was born. The meaning is that after 25 years with dozens of volunteers donating
thousands of hours of hard work we’d celebrate that humungous accomplishment
by having a Party where we wouldn’t have to work our you know what off for a change.

The plan was hatched and executed over only FIVE days!

On the fourth day we expanded to a 2x larger, and much nicer venue and on the
morning of The Party I learned my 1,000 plus text message invites hadn’t gone out.
But look at our people. Some only had a couple hours notice. But over one
hundred came out to PARTY!

I’m sooo proud of our White Party family. Everyone in our huge network is so
cool, beautiful and FUN!  It really is you, our Guests, who make the La Jolla 
Summer White Parties soooo much fun!

This was obviously a last minute experimental event with the split venues, Il Palio
and The Turf Club, but I wanted our people to see and experience the best of this
place I love, The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. And if anyone is interested in
becoming a Turf Club Member just reach out.

People in white essentially took over and ruled the entire racetrack Monday so I
guess this was in some ways more like La Jolla Summer White Party Day At The Track.

Next year we will probably be back with our traditional huge, wild and crazy
HOUSE PARTY! Or maybe a hybrid. Or maybe both, on different weekends.
However it turns out you know that we all love to Party and we will keep this rolln.

For now, thanks to all who attended and made Victory Lap so fun and special.
Sincere apologies to all those who got word too late, but at least now you know why.

It turned out that we got our Victory Lap in just under the wire, on the last few
hours of The Summer of ’25. How appropriate.

I hope to see you all at next year’s LJSWP, this year’s La Jolla Christmas Party and
many other places.  And remember, it’s always Summer in San Diego!
